My book "Cartas a la noche"

"Svetlana Krikunenko se lanzó desde el sexto piso de su apartamento en Moscú. ¿Haría frío aquella noche en Rusia? Liliana imagina por un segundo el cuerpo. Granate sobre hormigón armado. Se mira el dedo índice. Hiedra sobre los muebles."

Although I had studied Hispanic Literature at the University, I started my active writing career two years ago, when I enrolled in the renowned Master of Literary Creation at the Pompeu Fabra University.  After having classes with some of the most notorious writers in the Spanish language (such as Samanta Schweblin, Antonio Muñoz Molina, Leila Guerriero, and Martín Caparrós, among others) my final project, the first 60 pages of the novel Cartas a la noche, was awarded with Matrícula de Honor, which means the highest possible mark within the Spanish system. The text was evaluated by Jordi Carrión, José Maria Micó and Mónica Ojeda.

In this text which I am about to finish, a young woman seeks experiences related to the representation of death and pain that her closest environment does not provide. She progressively abandons the relationship with her boyfriend —who does not accept that she harms herself— and becomes part of a group with similar tendencies. At the same time, her best friend reencounters with an old friend who evokes painful events of his childhood, which then leads into a series of dark reflections about life, literature, and love.

I am very excited about this project. I would love you to follow its following steps!
